Bet on the stream. Overview of the gambling vertical
Which vertical to choose - gambling or betting?
We don't really share those verticals. Our products include both gambling and betting.
If this is a question for me personally, then we are more adapted to gambling history. I won't say that we don't pay attention to betting, on the contrary, we have plans for the coming year to actively develop the betting line, but right now gambling still prevails.
We have an active game time department, we pour our crash games, so gambling is more priority and interesting for us. If I were to enter the field now, I would bet on gambling.
How to find the best gambling offer for those who are now entering the field. What is the best way to pour traffic?
Based on the traffic source of the webmaster, what priorities, expertise and budget he has, we choose the offer that he will test, adjust, give some advice and start testing.
That is, the main thing is traffic source, budget and priority for you at this moment.
In general, as direct advertising, we usually do not start cooperation with partners who do not know anything. After all, you need to learn something, get a base, and then come and take the offer under the bay.
How many open GEOs did you have in your company? How many of them were successful?
It's a rather vague question, because we discovered and tested a lot, tried to enter with a lot.
Almost all GEOs we tried to enter were successful. But to what extent they were relevant and prioritized for us at that time — we decided after tests, payback, etc.
Can you highlight the TOP-3 countries from which you receive traffic with a high priority?
The first is Brazil, there is a very large volume of traffic coming from there now, we have extensive expertise there and know GEO inside and out. The second is India. It has been with us since the beginning and is still going strong now, despite the fact that there were problems (there was a period when it seemed to us that the market would be left without India, because it began to deteriorate, many products were abandoned). For us, India remains a top GEO, we pour a lot of traffic there, we have expertise, we help partners with the Gulf and other traffic issues.
We really have a lot of traffic to Africa right now and we like it. It pays off quickly, it is interesting for us, it is a priority, although there are questions. This is a high-risk GEO in terms of payment methods, processing and systems. If the partner is satisfied with it (with the fact that the source is excellent), then we try to be careful, but we work. Many countries are open there, if anyone is interested, write, we will tell you all the details.
If we talk about sources, how do you distribute the share of traffic on them? Which of the procurement sources are the most risky and can disrupt payback forecasts, and vice versa - which can be the most profitable?
In general, we work well with this traffic source and this traffic, we understand how to occupy it, conveIn other words, we love Facebook.
It's the same story with PPC. We have high expertise in each GEO and key. When partners come with a request, we ask for the keys. If we understand that the keys are not very relevant or the auction for them will not be ok for the partner, it is not a win-win story (we will not earn and the partner will not have what to expect), we direct him to where it will be more profitable.
Another insight. We do cool analytics in terms of GEO, each key, slot, the best of our products. This helps a lot when integrating partner bays with us. After all, they understand what they should focus on. They choose the TOP slots and envelopes for products, and make accents on the traffic bay already taking into account the key, popular slot, etc.
My partners know that I really don't like schemes, that's how it happened. But we have a lot of luck in the products of schematic traffic, there are specialists in the team who work well with it. I mostly give such partners to my friends. Although I don't like this scam from the beginning, I see many cases of how high-quality schemes can be a top source, cool and quickly give traffic.
Regarding risky sources, I cannot say that there are really big risks that really destroy plans for payback. In general, we do not buy long-term traffic, we have certain targets for our products, which we focus on, and when starting work with a partner, the affiliate manager, in principle, conducts a full cycle of cooperation with the partner. From the first touch, negotiation of deals, integration, advice on the bay — to analysis of traffic and payouts.
I am leading to the fact that we do not buy long-term traffic, because during the traffic analysis, AF monitors and understands which traffic will be ok and which will not be so good. That is, there will be no risks, as we are currently trying to understand what we like and what we don't.
Everything can be globally risky. But it's cool that we can track it. Our analysis of the product in terms of the purchase of the source and the target laid down in our plans allows us to understand what will be profitable for us. We also analyze GEO on payment methods, on the regulation of these methods, in principle on the situation in the country, on how the state treats gambling.
We are always ready.
Questions about working with partners - who do you like to work with the most? With the stock market or from the CIS market? What are the main differences when working with them?
I work normally both with the stock market and with our partners. The only thing that distinguishes the partner market is the method of payments. They ask for payment by wire, it is necessary that everything be white, they process a little differently.
This is what happens to boys and girls from the CIS - here is a crypto wallet and chased away, everything happens very quickly.
Another difference that applies only to some CIS partners. They come, do not analyze the traffic, want a higher rate and cannot voice the benefits of working for the advertiser in purchasing this traffic. That is, they just want a higher rate without any arguments.
Such a partner comes and bends his line - they say, a higher bet is needed. At the same time, you do not receive answers to your questions. There has never been such a situation with stock exchange partners, because they understand the price of FTD (first time deposit), their percentage of profit. They are more adequate in terms of cooperation with the product.
But in general, we love both of them.
When entering a new market, what do you usually avoid when planning payback? How long does it take depending on the new GEO selected?
We generally look at the trends, the popularity of various online things in this GEO, research how interesting people are to play online casinos, place bets, etc. We look at the number of people in this country, demographic indicators, we plan to adapt our product in this GEO, the possibility of integrating payment solutions. We set the price of FTD, installed, how much they will cost for the partner for each traffic source. Taking this into account, we make forecasts, prepare a pool of bets that we can offer.
How long does this work take on average — tests, research?
GEO Tier-1 — as far as I know, you haven't gone there yet. Do you plan to do so in the near future?
Yes, we keep Tier-1 in the plans, most likely, for next year. We had tests there - with several GEOs. We cooperated on the CBA. But for now, the focus is on the GEOs we work with now, as we have a rule of thumb to be the best where we are.
Latam and Asia are now a priority. I can announce the appearance of many interesting GEOs in the near future - we will have something to please our partners, they already know about it and are waiting for it.
If it's not a secret, what was tested with Tier-1?
Canada was actively tested, as well as the Czech Republic, Poland, France, that is, in fact, many countries. But at some point we realized that we are not ready to go public with them, it is not so easy. We don't need to go out with a raw product. Tier-1 will definitely be there, but later.
Maybe sometimes there are offers that don't go very well, are worse than others, no one wants to cast them - what do you do with them?
There is no answer to this question, because we do not work where we are not TOP. We do not leave GEO, where we have not connected all possible payment methods, we have not created a local domain, we have not connected all resources. We do not bring it to the public and do not start working with it in full force.
You recently had an Instagram in Ukrainian. Why did you start this project? Do you have many partners in Ukraine? What is the goal of development and media formation in general in this project?
First of all, I wouldn't say the majority of our products, but a lot of partners are Ukrainian-speaking, from the Ukrainian arbitration community. Plus, approximately 50% of Ukrainians work in our company. We had to do it and the time has come — we are starting to develop Ukrainian-language content.
The Ukrainian community is very powerful, it is important to be present in it. We want to contribute to the formation of Ukrainian arbitration - we are sure that it will be cool and interesting.
What other plans do you have? What is the top priority right now?
As already mentioned, these are new GEOs that we will announce very soon. We will also be present at all major conferences with cool big stands, and we will continue to develop the PR side (for example, in merch).
During this year, we have grown a lot in terms of business. Our meand now — not to graze the hindquarters and continue to grow. The goal is to break the market, we are moving towards it quickly and very confidently, and I am sure that we will succeed.
How long does traffic in Brazil pay for itself for an advertiser? Are there any averages?
Do you currently have a higher percentage of bourse traffic (compared to CIS)?
Yes, mostly stock market traffic. From the CIS, we are now actively accepting Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
I want to talk about fraud. What are the largest amounts of fraudulent traffic you have received? Were there any fraud charges, and if so, what were the amounts?
We did not have super large-scale fraud bays. I remember when I came to work we had sums like $2,000. They tested us, tried to understand where and how we can be defrauded. At that time, we opened every player and user with our hands, analyzed and tracked where there was fraud and where it was not.
But that was a long time ago. There have been no large-scale cases recently.
I didn't believe it at first, because this is a reliable partner with a good name. Every week for two months, we called this team, analyzed the case, analyzed how it happened. And everything was resolved by the fact that we paid for the traffic, and it turned out not to be a fraud. We really spent a lot of time trying to figure it out. There was a specific traffic source — the team couldn't track where their ads were being advertised and which audience they were ultimately buying. They got into a kind of schematic dilemma and players came to us with a clearly defined scheme.
We ended up spending a lot of time trying to figure it out. We are still working successfully with this team. And the traffic, which we didn't know what to do with and thought we would never pay for it, successfully paid off. Those schemers were dragged in and they are now one of the most trusted players on the product.
I like to remember this case - it was interesting.
What is the TOP-1 traffic source predicted for 2024?
I cannot give specific forecasts, I think that all the same sources will work as now.
Why do advertisers put restrictions on creatives — for example, you can't write "register and get a bonus"?
Everything is actually very simple here. We are not interested in buying bonus hunters who will take their bonus, play and leave us. When we start cooperation, we indicate these limitations. For example, we forbid writing sums on depots on creatives - we are not interested in buying first-timers who will destroy the sum of depots, hang out on the product and leave us.
Everyone wants a long-term relationship history. No one wants to buy bonus hunters and first timers.
What is your best GEO for UAC?
I cannot single out a specific GEO. It all depends on how well you can work with such a traffic source as UAC.
We have cool cases with Africa and UAC, with a good return on this GEO, as well as with Brazil. But let's repeat - with UAC, as with all sources, you need to know how to work correctly.
Why do you have separate RevShare and SRA departments?
We just want our affiliates to have a two-focus model of payment and cooperation with partners, so we separate two divisions.
What non-obvious sources give good performance?
This is a bit of a fuzzy question. But, for example, there are streams — influence traffic is not obvious, but can perform well if you know how to work with it.
Do you have any special SEO traffic requirements?
We look at the SEO of the site - what it is, how it is fixed, what it looks like. If it is OK, we run the test, and further analyze how much work can be done.
There are probably no special requirements.
Does One Win sponsor capital projects?
If the question is about conferences as bourgeois projects, then yes, of course, we speak. We buy cool places, make cool big stands, in-house collaborations with merch, visuals, interactives, etc.
